Lol. Now veering off the subject bothers you? Not the 50 pages worth of side conversations? At least I made a connection with what BBC weather said about London and the "hot sunshine" for today... There's discussion above about the Everglades for godsakes. Oh but you're upset because of my comment. Sorry my opinion won't change. British media over sensationalize the weather over there which is usually anything but sensational.

I've been saying constantly how this has gone off topic, and everyone on here (including me) agrees that our media sensationalise everything. It doesn't mean that people think it's actually oppressively hot. Everyone in the office who's actually mentioned the weather today have said it feels nice outside.

So then what's the problem? I even poked fun at my climate posting the texts from my wife.

Well it should be brought back on topic (like I've tried to but evidently failed). Leave out all the crap about NZ, Chicago, Miami, Texas etc. They have nothing to do with London.

Well, yes, this topic is about London, not a strangers text conversation.

The UK is probably the last country in the northern hemisphere to reach 80 this year (excluding some north islands).

Seriously, Americans time and tie again get up at ridiculous hours. 5am? Are you mad?
