From the Nashville thread. When will London see the first 27c day of 2015?

Typically it would be seen in late May, and the long term forecast for this spring shows an average April and warm May, so I'll go with the first half of May.

I'm going for 29th April. I'm being optimistic and hoping for a nice early warm spell.

I say May 18th. There's going to be a nice warm spell in London May 15th-20th with highs 25-28 C and lows 12-15 C.

Whatever the date, it will probably be before we do with this rotten pattern we are stuck in.

Sometime in May I suspect. We probably won't get one until June.

Last few years:

2014: 19 May
2013: 30 June
2012: 23 May
2011: 23 April
2010: 23 May
2009: 1 June
2008: 11 May

Seems that the second half of May is about right.. 2013 was late after the coldest Spring in 50 years, and April 2011 was early during our warmest recorded April.
