850s aren't even that cold over south eastern Australia, but these cold nights are really impressive, already Canberra hit ~0c at 6:30pm. Perth remained at 9c since 1pm and 20mm since 9am, shame about the spike to 17.5c during the morning.

Just the opposite really -with a t-shirt and fleece being enough for the upper body.

Once the great NZ snow machine cranks up, there'll be snow for all.

Yes. Last night at my astronomy site, I had to run the engine for like 20 mins and the windscreen demister to melt the ice off the windscreen. I'd post a pic but photobucket is being a piece of s**t as per usual.
