Umm in South America it hasn't been harsh at all


We are yet to have a high below 20C this winter. Last year sub-20C highs were a regular occurence

I think the only place who had a really cold month was Southern Patagonia, the second half of June was very cold there, but now it is above normal, also i've seen that eastern Australia is having quite cold temperatures too this early July.

Where are the biggest negative anomalies in Brazil? Belo Horizonte? Vitoria? Rio de Janeiro?

Southeastern states(Bahia,Minas Gerais,Espirito Santo etc).

Gfs 18z now showing snowfall over Uruguay and Southern Brazil , including the lowlands, up to 3 inches(8cm) in some areas.



Models are in agreement with a possible cold blast on the South Cone in 200 hours, will post temperature maps when it get closer to the event.

This July has been so cool and cloudy, I didnt even seen the sun this month yet, not looking like the sunny tropical city that I'm used to see.
