Looking at this again.. funny how we were talking about that before they showed that. Kinda almost makes sense because patterns come back and August seems like good timing where it comes, disappears for Fall 3-4 months later, then comes back for winter 4-5 months later?
31°C/88°F right now. Actually feels really nice and mild outside thanks to 43% humidity. But inside very opressive, this construction sucks for the summer
Though today is considerably cooler than it was yesterday, and with a few coolish to seasonably warm days through this weekend, some forecasters and weather outlooks for Indianapolis are already calling for the potential of more summer like weather next week......and the 6 to 10 and the 8 to 14 day temperature outlooks are both calling for above average temperatures, not only for Indianapolis, but for much of the eastern two thirds of the lower 48 states.
4th straight max of 91 today! Not even in summer do we get the same high 4 days in a row, let alone in late September when the average high is in the 60s!
There were a few minor sprinkles, but nothing measurable so the dry streak lives on for now.
The 90 degree days in 2017:
June 12--90
June 18--90
September 24--91
September 25--91

Today jumps ahead of yesterday for the 5th latest 90, yesterday falls to 6, Monday to T-7, and Sunday to T-10.
Today was the 3rd daily record high in the last 4 days.
