Plenty of heavy rain 150 miles west of me offshore in 1600ft in the loop current doing the deep water grouper no good. As soon as it tries to move east it hits dry air aloft and the colder gulf water temps east of the loop current just makes it go POOF. No chance it will come onshore tonite. The loop current is always much warmer and helps with lift to make strong T- storms.
