September will be warmer than average and sunnier than July or August. October average and then November will be well above average and very wet.

CFSv2 more neutral here, but warm still in Europe




Canadian has it warm here but a cool pool for Northwest Europe this autumn

And NASA has us in the Great Lakes with below average temps this autumn, and the poles frigid lol

I wonder which of those models has the best track record and the most skill for predicting the weather for the lead season in question

After such a lame and a lackluster summer in much of the eastern two thirds of the lower 48 states, I would love to have a newsworthy fall season

Of course, watch this fall turn out to be one of the sh*tiest falls in a long time now that I have opened my pie hole

I put money on this fall beimg wet and cold then we flip to bitterly cold and dry in winter! 2014 all over again for winter! I absolutely despise cold dry winters...

Yep, all early indications are pointing to a cold winter. Not too mention the North Atlantic cold pool is reforming.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if this winter turns out to be worse than the winter of 2013-2014, at least the winter of 2013-2014 had record setting snowfall in central Indiana.........
