When given a choice between "seasonless" climates, people overwhelming choose the room temperature temperate one and then when that was removed, people overwhelming chose tropical wet. I've decided to narrow it down to two undesirable (for most people) choices.
Pick your poison:
Dustee: a hot, year round desert with almost no rain and a year round, searing dry heat. Nights are still quite warm in winter and still hot in summer although there is enough of a diurnal range that one can much more comfortably go out at night than in the day.
OR
Mistee: a cold, maritime chilly rainy climate- lots of cold rain, NO snow as the temperatures have a very narrow range; always stay above freezing but never even warm up above room temperature, and very little sunshine.
Also note that the all time record low in Dustee is the same temperature as the all time record high in Mistee.
Both are horrible but I pick Mistee over Dustee because Dustee really has NO relief from the heat. In Mistee, it might be chilly but at least, I could go outside comfortably year round wearing a light waterproof jacket. I would just have to find an indoor pool to swim in and vacation to warmer and sunnier places once a year. if Dustee had a comfortable season and/or cool nights, I'd pick it, but year round scorching is more evil than year round chilly and damp to me. Besides, Mistee would have much better greenery than rainless Dustee.
Mistee, please! I'd be sad to always be cool and damp, but that's much more preferable than Dustee (going outdoors at all during the day would be unbearable).
Mistee is actually not that bad, just too gloomy with too many rainy days. However, I imagine a lush temperate rainforest there.
Possibly. But remember this is a borderline maritime tundra climate. But Tierra del Fuego has a tundra climate and forests grow... So it's possible.
