-5 seems quite low for a high temp, but nevertheless there have been predictions of snow and cold for a while so I don’t see any reason for it not to happen.

Default Portland 14-day Forecast 1/17/19



Looks like some sun is coming later in the week. Also, a new storm just developed on Tuesday 1/22 that wasn't forecasted yesterday

After yesterday and today being in the low 40s, temps will dip strongly on wednesday and thursday. Temperatures like this shouldn't be happening in summer At least i'm away by then.





Not looking like it will warm up past average either. This January will probably end up averaging below 30C for maximums.

From extreme and near-record breaking cold to exceptionally mild in the forecast, Tuesday 29th had a forecast maximum of -4°C, now Saturday 26th has a low of 9°C.

Wunderground shows colder, but Weather Online goes with snow on Thursday morning with a high of 10°C in the afternoon!
