I have lived in both Seattle and Portland never actually in Olympia. The winters are way too long the summers are over in a flash. I gave it a C because the winters are relatively mild and the two months or so of sunny nice weather are nearly perfect. Four or five dry months and it would not be a great place to live.

C for me. Way too many wet/cold days in winter, and summer could be a bit wetter

75% cloud cover doesn't mean 25% sunshine. This is why I really hate the US system that only cares about cloud cover.

I know I'm just saying I couldn't find anything. I imagine it's similar to Seattle's hours but worse.

I moved here last year in June but last year was the worst in 122 years. The year before that was the 2nd worst iirc. I've heard with climate change it's just going to get worse as well. Olympia has the gloom/rain worse than Seattle as well.

Never-ending gloom? Seattle has had just 3 sunny, mild days since the start of October | KOMO
