I reckon a Seattle average of 1,800 in Euro money - so i'll go with 1,700 if folk are saying it's worse ....
can't be as bad as Forks though

Definitely not that bad. The coastal cities in general are all going to be much worse...windier, colder, wetter, gloomier.

If Vancouver is 1950, I don't see how Seattle can be 1800.

I wonder if Aberdeen, WA gets around 1650 or 1800?

Agreed... I think Seattle is between Vancouver and Victoria in terms of sunshine hours using the international system of measurement (not US system) so about 2050 hours.

I had to give Olympia an F. Too many gray days!

Subjective of course. I was born in Vancouver and raised in Olympia. I have lived in Phoenix AZ now for over 22 years and I much prefer the desert.

Olympia is unbeatable in the middle of summer though, best place in the country for two months!

If the mean maximum was the average high it'd be A-, but for the climate itself it's a C-. Not enough heat there I'm afraid, and the winters drag on.

Never-ending gloom? Seattle has had just 3 sunny, mild days since the start of October | KOMO
Look at the coast...we got 10 FEET of rain between Oct and Apr.

C+ from me, adequate annual precipitation to suit my needs, the only thing holding this climate back from getting a B is the seasonality of the precipitation distribution(I would like it to be more evenly spread through out the year).
