Peru has three distinct regions with three completely different climate systems, but also has lots of tiny microclimates thanks to its numerous valleys and mountains. Which one is your favorite?
The rest are far too dry with the exception of Cuzco, which is too cool. Iquitos is far too wet for me, and I like a little more seasonality, I'm not a fan of monotony, but it's the best of the bunch.
Ica is by far the closest match to my temperature preferences, but it gets virtually no rainfall, that's a big deal breaker. I could live in the desert, provided there's rainy season or monsoon like in the Southwestern US.
