Would be nice to see the cold/snowy pattern pan out in this area in mid Dec, but even if it doesn't, the great thing is that there's still a 3-month margin left to get some brutal/recordbreaking cold and snow.

It looks like I'm too far west to get in on the fun. I'm sure by the time the semester ends and I head back to North Carolina, a southeast ridge will pop up.
