It's been pretty uneventful here the last week or so. Highs in the 60s and 70s and lows in the upper 40s and 50s. We had a huge thunderstorm 2 nights ago that dropped about .5" of rain but pretty quiet besides that. Low dropped to 49F last night and were headed for a high of 67F this afternoon which is exactly average for the this time of year.

One of my favorite Spring days today by far. Nostalgic.

Air temp 60s. Dews in the 30s. Slight NW breeze. Blue Sunny Skies. Sounds of lawn mowers and Birds. Perfect spring day.

12pm map. Temps, Winds, Dews. Wow at the 30s

Kinda cool, but mild enough to wear a T-shirt; didn’t realize how dry it is

Yeah, he's in NYC now, just outside Central Park area..

I think this may be one of the best May's in a long time. Mostly 60s and some 70s moving forward next 2 weeks. No frosts/freeze threats.

GFS backed off the heat it was showing caving to the Euro.

Only thing is I don't like the days with precip.

And looking at the 9000' Humidity column, looks like clouds around a lot next 2 weeks.

But Look at today though. 4-5%. !! Blue Skies!

89f today. Clouds have moved in from the system trying to get it's act together in the gulf. Plus i got another telescope coming Monday so that will for sure bring clouds for a week. There is light rain 270 miles to my southwest but it can't win out over the dry air aloft, so no rain today or Sat. With any luck maybe Monday i can get some rain. So with a scope coming and if i wash my Corvette maybe i can make it rain next week.
