The humidity is very low today and I noticed that when humidity is low, the temperature drops like a brick soon as a cloud goes infront of the sun. Whereas with high humidity, even when cloudy, the humidity seems to retain all the warmth and the temperature doesn't sink away into oblivion. One of the reasons why I like humid weather.
Mostly cloudy/overcast at times and a pathetically light DOA shower PM.
00:07: 9.4°C, 86% humidity.
Despite the seemingly normal high which lasted about 0.7 seconds, it was actually far colder all day, about 14°C. And tomorrow a big band of constant cold rain (temps below 10°C for days) is set to drop up to 200mm of rain over central England until Thursday. Massive flooding and threat to life a distinct possibility.
Maximum: 19.4C
Minimum: 14.6C
Rain since 9am: 8.8mm (19.8mm this morning, apart from the hills Perth Metro had the rare occasion of having the most rain overnight)
A wet, cloudy and windy winters day. Starting out with a mild morning with winds NW 25-40km/h shifting W 30-45km/h around midday and becoming colder with this change. Maximums recorded 10-12 this morning before the cold change. Weather has truly deteriorated during the afternoon.
