Which of these mild to cool temperate Australian climates do you prefer? Some of these are called 'four seasonal climates', at least by Australian standards.

Khancoban is the best of those climates; it actually is pretty good with decent summers, although nights are slightly too cold.

Kiandra for winters, though summers are best in Oberon. But winters are more important.

Khancoban, owing solely to its superior summers.

Here are some more climates:

My favourite (A+ climate), Wee Jasper, NSW

Locally around here:

Laurel Hill, NSW

Kunama, NSW

Batlow, NSW

Anglers Reach, NSW

Jindabyne, NSW

Trentham, VIC

http://=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...s]Jounama, NSW

Hunters Hill, VIC

http://=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...ods Point, VIC

Bogong, VIC

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hone...kle Creek, ACT

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gudg...]Gudgenby, ACT

http://=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...immitabel, NSW

http://=https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w...Crookwell, NSW

Perhaps the coldest and snowiest town in mainland Australia; Aberfeldy, VIC, with 32.5 snowy days annually:

Aberfeldy, VIC

Just west of Sydney, at 34° S (colder than Oberon):

Shooters Hill, NSW

Not a town or rural locality, but the Grampians in VIC are home to the #No.1 dreariest climate in mainland Australia, with 26 precipitation days in July (mid-winter):

Mt. William, VIC

We are quite opposite, huh?

I love cold myself. In winter, temperatures should drop to -30 or -35°C. That is much fun.

The coldest I have been out walking is -30°C but I believe I could still have fun if it was 5°C less.

The point is to wear as many clothes as possible.

At -30°C I put 7 clothes on my top body. I could put more clothes on me if it was colder.

Lifting up your arms gets kinda difficult but it is worth that.

I choose Kiandra, NSW for colder winters despite the poor seasonilty. And high snowfall is a plus. I will go with it out of the list. It is not much cold but it is so snowy.

What is this place? I dont want to think it is just a place with no one around

Kiandra was very populated during the 1860's Gold Rush era, the Capital of the Snowy Mountains at one point; some 10,000 fellows back then. However, there now lay a desolate hinterland, claimed by the iron grip of the New South Welsh Government (National Parks).

The growing season up there is pitifully short, with hard freezes common even during the height of "summer".

Yes, the less snow and cold the better. That is what I look for in a climate Luckily, Australia has plenty of amazing options that are infinitely better than the choices listed here
