Some snowy pictures from Hunting Trip last week in the wilderness of Northern Pennsylvania, we got about 2-3" of snow this day, very winter-like scene.

Climbing up a pipeline in the wilderness, good shot of the valley below

Nice view of the ice/snow rimmed trees

Location of my treestand - approximately 2200' in elevation, about 700' higher than where the truck was parked.

When you're not around to see it...... A time lapse camera sees it for you...

1:30am: Rain changing to snow
1:55am: Started accumulating on the board.
4-6am is when the heaviest snow rates happened.
1.6" snow total after 1.85" of rain.

1.7" here and lightly snowing again now.

See where the camera is?

I wish I had more time to take pictures lately, so it's a rare contribution. We have just had two days of snow, and this morning that was the result. Only a few cm on the ground, shot taken at around 8 am on my way to the train station, biking as usual (which was funny with 0c and frosty snow on the ground)

fantastic sunshine today as well, nice treat for a mid december day.

Took a spur of the moment ride to High Point, NJ this afternoon. It was 34 F/1 C with strong winds...tomorrow this area will be getting blanketed with snow and ice.
