Summer will never end in Florida. We used to be able to count on a cool front around mid October but it seems to take longer and longer before we see any cooler weather lately.

Since 2011 our falls have been blazing hot. All them record 90's in Nov of 2015 and the last two Octs were the hottest ever. Just think what another 30 years will be like when it will be 90's year round and then into the 100's out past 70 years.
Yeah, it’s going to be in the 60’s and 70’s. A taste of fall. Can’t wait
For highs? Nice if so. I'll probably still hit 80 with next weeks dip but the night will go lower than it has. And humidity will be drier. Cant wait is right. Really sick of all these 70s for lows

Well, 70’s for highs and 60’s for lows on Sunday and Monday. Will reach 80 on the other days.
Here in the northern central part of California, it's still pretty warm. We usually get a nice delta breeze that gives relief from a blistering hot day. Not tonight, though, and it looks like it's going to be this way through next Thursday. Currently, it's 90°F at 9:45 pm. That's according to my outdoor thermometer. Definitely not going to open the windows tonight. I stepped outside to feel how warm it still is and heard the crickets chirping. It brought back a memory from my childhood.
When it was especially warm at night, like tonight, my parents would let me sleep outside in the backyard. They had a couple of those chaise lounges, the kind made out of aluminum and webbing that would invariably need replacing every few years. I'd sleep on one of those and it was a lot more comfortable than sleeping directly on the ground, not to mention keeping creepy crawling bugs from trying to snuggle in, too. I used to lay sleeping bag or soft quilt over it, to soften the stiffness of the webbing. Not as comfy as my own bed but a lot more fun. I could usually talk my sister or oldest brother into sleeping out there with me. We'd lay awake for hours, listening to the crickets (like I hear tonight), telling each other corny jokes or talking (and sometimes singing) the songs we'd heard on the radio that day.
The things you remember just by hearing crickets outside on a hot summer night.
It hit 117F. Brutal but still 7 degrees cooler than Furnace Creek which hit 124F.
