Yesterday's official high in İzmit was 22 degrees.

I measured 23 degrees in the shade with my own thermometer near my home.

It is now 6 degrees Celsius outside the window. Although it is already winter, the weather seems to be autumn. It is cold and damp outside the window. Because of this, the inside is also cold and damp, although heating is on. The only thing that makes me happy is that I don't have to go outside because I work remotely. I would be depressed if I had to get to work every day in such weather. Due to the fact that now there is a lockdown, the rest outside the house is also over, now I only go to the store and that's it. But even looking out the window is unpleasant, very gloomy. I'm already looking forward to winter weather, I hope it will be snowy this year.

Reached a cool high of 18.8°C after an overnight low of 8.2°C. Yesterday peaked at 33.7°C and it's currently around 14°C outside (9pm). Gotta love the variability of Melbourne in summer.

Last night's low was -4C, and there was a really nice halo around the moon at 10pm. Unfortunately I don't have any camera that can capture night time optical effects. Had the same problem with the aurora in NWT.
