It was mostly cloudy until 6PM when a heavy rainstorm started with torrential rain falling at rates up to 127mm/hr initially with thunder and lightning occurring, the wettest day in some time.
Some showers this morning giving the first rain this month & producing more than double the amount that has fallen since the start of July. Mostly overcast during the afternoon with a few sunny spells.
Wow, what a perfect day. So refreshing. Also, yesterday's mega downpour gave us the wettest day since 7th November 2019. Much needed in this time of drought.
