I cannot wait to wake up tomorrow and live through the day.
6:45amCST temps... I always wonder what its like to feel 30s and 40s in the morning in Early September.
We don't experience temps under 45° much here by the coast before mid September. Last time was 1982 where it dropped to 41° August 29th
I don’t think it will go down to 45 until October. That’s a record low for early September here. The lake is still at 63 F and that makes things a lot warmer. I usually don’t see the leaves in my area change colors until late October or sometimes even early November.

Just a computer model. Snow totals and this time of year should only be for entertainment purposes but... snow is on the table Tuesday. We'll see how much. WOW
It's going to be so hot before the change--as in almost triple-digit hot--that melting on contact will play a large role. Those totals along the Colorado-Kansas line seem especially ambitious.
Those who wish for significant weather to spread to the midwest will prefer the GFS solution. If my eyes are correct that says six inches of rain for central Illinois.

That would be drought busting rains if the GFS run verifies. It's been EXTREMELY dry here
Here is the difference between the Euro and the GFS..... Euro just doesn't seem rational to me that a low would hit the desert southwest instead of the Midwest this time of year.
Agreed. Weather like this is one of the main reasons I chose to move away from Alberta. Nice to be somewhere immune to this kind of stuff and be watching it from the sidelines for a change.
Yeah, Alberta suffers it even worse. Sometimes Alberta has the warmest weather in the winter from downloping "Chinook" winds then the next week it's like -20. Crazy horrible stuff. Then Alberta can get summer snow on occasion but it can also get 100+ temps. That's an utter climate fail.
At least Ontario has a reliable spring to fall pattern.
In the meantime, Santa Ana winds will be starting up in LA tomorrow.
89 today, 103 tomorrow, 107 Sunday with bone dry humidity.
Great beach weather out there!
Can you believe Redding will be 111 this weekend? At the same time Redding will be 111, Ft. Collins will be 30 as a high.
Ft. Collins - climate fail, subarctic weather in September. Redding - still summer, roasting hotter than any other place at its latitude (41N).
