Bank on a well above normal DEC for most of the U.S.. It will be 10+ above normal for FL with many 80's most of the month and just about no rain anywhere in the state. This fall thru spring will make Oct 2016 thru May 2017 look like a flood compared to how dry it is gonna be this time around. I had around 3" total from Oct 2016 till May2017 . There will also be some 90's in DEC. Every year just keeps beating the year before on dry weather and warm temps.

Could possibly be a non winter like 2011-2012 followed by an abnormally warm spring season similar to spring 2012.......

It could but some mets think we will be in a modoki phase La Nina by the spring time. Region 3.4 will still be in La Nina but region 1.2 might be neutral or even positive by then. That usually means cool wet spring here

Dr. Cohen keeps tweeting out data that makes me depressed. Not looking good for a fast start to winter right now.

Oh well at least the Arctic will freeze up quickly. Hopefully there will be a PV disruption or split later this winter.

More bad news for winter weather fans. CFSv2 is saying that December could be insanely mild for CONUS especially the Midwest in terms of above normal anomalies
