I'm a Liberal who prefers Oceanic climates with a decent amount of rain all year, as well as a touch of heat in the summer.

Much higher correlation based on ubanicity...and we all know that there are cities and rural areas in the same geography with the same weather.

I'm an old-school lefty liberal who, if so-called "progressives" are to be believed, is now a member of the alt-right, a fascist, and practically a Nazi (the Overton Window: oh, how it has shifted).

I'm originally from hot, dry Southern California, and moved to Western Washington State because I wanted gloom and rain, and I wish it snowed here more often.

I'm between centre and centre-left libertarian.

I prefer sunny, warmish (not hot) climates that are just mildly rainy. I totally despise tropical climates, unsunny oceanic climates and continental climates.

I’m a conservative who doesn’t care a lot about politics.

I prefer cool climates, such as Tolhuin, Río Grande, Murmansk... where there are no heat waves, no thunderstorms and no bugs.

I do not believe there is any correlation whatsoever. I believe there might be a tendency for extroverts to like warm weather and introverts to be more commonly found among cold lovers, but that does not have much to do with politics.

I'm a localist/subsidiarist. In the American context, it basically makes me libertarian.

I mostly like warm humid weather; but I do enjoy cool, crisp weather as well.

Extreme cold to me is below 50F or so - and I would prefer to avoid it completely.

Yeah I'm another one that blows your theory out of the water. Hard left and missing Alaska like a mofo. Way too hot for me in Mississippi!

I'm a liberal and love cold weather. I'm happiest in a lake effect snow event or a polar vortex that sends temperatures down to the single digits. Winter is my favorite season followed by fall.

Dfb/Dfc climates are my favorites. I like my current city's climate though the winters aren't cold enough for an extended period of time.

The warmest I like it is around 68-70 F. That's warm enough for me.
