I'm actually actively looking at moving to the Upper Midwest for a good employment opportunity, as I prefer it over many areas I've lived. You might not have a problem with the sun, but many people like more clouds and less harsh sunlight. You also have to remember it is a severe shock when you live in the Ohio Valley because you get used to having more than half the year featuring 2/3 or 3/4 cloudy days, and then you get blasted out with excessive amounts of sun during the hotter months.

I won't see a 58f until Dec. Used to in Oct years ago. I got rain two days in row so it snowed in July again.

I've been to Honolulu in mid June and experienced direct overhead sun, didn't bother me

I wonder if their dew points are as bad as mine. I know the water over there is cooler than my water in the gulf.

High of 88f today, it's 71 at 7am.

I'm looking forward to next week of highs in the mid 70's and lows in the low 50's.
