3.4'' of rainfall since 11:00 EDT here. Temperature is now 21C.
Lucky you, it takes me weeks to get 3" or more. Another dead and boring summer and no canes again. 2 more hot insane months to go with mid 90's till the end of Oct. I no longer count Oct as a fall month since it is no longer nothing it used to be in the 1970's and 80's.
This month will go out dry. Not even 2" since Aug 14th. My get a inversion line with the fetch of the cane on Wends and maybe get lucky and get some rain.
Sunshine to start the day but scattered showers possible this afternoon. Then we dry out for a while again. While temps will only be around 80 today the dewpoint is still near 70F so it's still pretty awful. In some ways, I think cool and humid and worse than hot and humid. But the humidity goes away starting tomorrow. Highs go into the upper 70s with dewpoints back into the 50s where they should be.
100f/35f dew
Another 100f day, going to be breaking the record soon .
If dew points stay low, I won't mind breaking it.
Just sick of humidity, which seems to increase with smoke
Phoenix
93f/65f dew
Heat index 95(same as Fresno)
Edit:
Bakersfield
100f/51f dew(97heat index)
Smokey
Ew
Tampa averages a coldest temp of 55°F in October, so you should see 64°F within 6 weeks statistically, that's not months
Ya did. Look at the last 5 Octs. I used to see 30's and 40's in Oct in Tampa back in the real falls in the 1980's and before. Look at Oct of 2019 and get back with me on Tampa lows.
