Just checked the forecast for Syracuse - the high on Wed is supposed to be in the lower 70s.

Low 70s!!

That's what I need to be seeing when I go up there at the end of the month...lol.

I Like the spin. Yeah, this year we're geting lucky again. Last yr was better with less 90s and less heat and more of these long stretch breaks but this year the breaks are still there but shorter. August 2013 was even better!

Typically we only get a couple of days that stay in the 70s for first half of August. 2013 had 9!

As far as 50s.. we're lucky to get more than 2 times first half of August here. Sucks! Those 50s are probably 2 hrs worth while we're sleeping anyway. Still get warm mornings especisly especially when that yellow thing rises

Do you typically notice an increase in those kinds of lows in the very latter part of August? Even here, lows usually start dipping into the 60's, although we won't see any 50's until mid-Sept at the earliest.

Yes but not much. Only a few vs a couple. Bridgeport hasnt had more then 5 days worth of 50s Aug 15-31 since 2000. I had 8 last year. Im a tad cooler than BDR but warmer than inland spots. So probably only 30% of the 2nd half of August I get 50s normally.

But believe me.. plenty of Summer still left here. But thanks you guys for making me feel a little better.

Of course the days with 36C and 38C have lower lows than the forecasted 28C day on Saturday. Doesn't make sense.

^ So many cloudy days.

Meanwhile this subcontinental paradise is getting yet another heat wave.
