Lol, I think it's something to do with the GFS model updating.

Aww, I thought this was the new £100m Met Office supercomputer which was worth closing a load of weather stations for!

Sunday could be nice if it doesn't rain in the afternoon. Today's forecast is too optimistic, it's -10°C (14°F) at 2 pm; doubt we'll make it anywhere close to -4°C.

Not too bad in my opinion but there should be more frost in the night and also some chances of snow.

weather Bremerhaven 8 days: Rain risk - Wind - UV index - Sunshine hours

Almost identical to Paris' apart from the first couple days. Hope I'll get to see some snow there Sunday:

Could you feel your nostrils freeze this morning?

No complaints here. Sufficiently cold weather. Cloudier would be nice, but beggars can't be choosers.

You're lucky! I heard that the Albany area dropped to -25C this morning! I'm guessing that you weren't much warmer.

I'm only a couple of latitudes below you, but my forecast doesn't even compare. -10C is the lowest foreseeable temp in my area:
