i started a new topic for people to put in their own words what the weather was like in their area on a particular day!

i shall start: All temps in Degrees C

Perth Weather Summary for 15/3/09
Today started off with the risk of a thunderstorm, the chance vanished quickly, some stormy looking clouds started to dissapate around 9am. A very warm overnight temperature recorded in the city of 22.1 degrees at 6am, and was also very warm at the airpoert recording a min of 21.1 degrees. Other weather stations in the metro area reported overnights mins between 17 and 24 degrees. As the Sun broke through the clouds the temperature started to soar reaching a max of 39.8 degrees in the city and 39.7 degrees at the airport. Other stations in the metro area recorded temps of 34-40 degrees. Currently at night it is very still and clear with temps around the 26 degree mark! Tomorrow will see a humid change reach the city and hills in afternoon, max temos should be around 32 degrees.

Lincoln, England

Started out with mostly clear skies and an overnight low of 5.3c.

Sunshine and scattered cloud AM with the temperature reaching 12.1c by 12:00.

Tons of clouds bubbling up and spreading out with very thick cirrus clouds obscuring the sun, becoming nearly totally overcast by 13:00. Temperature struggling to rise just scraping 12.8c.

Not the worst of days for our country this time of year but where the hell does the sun have to disappear?

That sounds like a beautiful day, and I would feel lucky just by being there to experience it.
(39 C in the shade and without humidity for me isn't hot anyways, really; it's merely "toasty-warm")

Here we've also had a delightfull day,
as far as mid-March (late winter) days go in southern Ontario.
The entire day has had between 0-5% cloudcover, so we've had as much sun as the day is long.
The sun feels warm and comparatively strong,
but the maximum U.V. level is moderate at about "4," so most people need not worry about burning.

Morning low was somewhere around freezing,
today's high was forecast at 8 C, but actually passed it and hit 9 C.
Light winds throughout the day cut down a bit on the perceived warmth,
but overall a good day, and 4 C above our average daily high.

It was a very nice day warmth wise. I'm still thanking all those of you who live straight south of me for those warm temps. The ONLY problem was that it was a bit too windy, but like I said before~if we have to put up with a strong south wind in order to warm up, I'll take it. The winds must've been 30 plus mph most of the afternoon.

The day today was kinda iffy, started off at 62 degrees and clear at 7 AM, it quickly warmed up to 90 degrees by 1 PM, then fluffy cumulus clouds started forming around 1:30 and the sky was totally covered in a kind of a cirrostratus layer by 2 PM and the temp had fallen to 85F. It remained like that until 4 PM than it broke up and the temp went beack up to around 87F and it remained that temp until it started dropping again at 5:45 and by sunset it was 83F, right now @ 8:50 PM it's 71F and clear outside and should head down to a low of 60.
