Now Now!! Poor Bessie!! She will be fully engorged and miserably uncomfortable if someone doesn't milk her poor frozen teats.

This doesn't appear to be something you are too happy about.
Maybe it belongs in the stress and venting thread.

I'm happy the sun is shining through the windows and helping warm the house. Yes I like this greenhouse effect. It is a beautiful 48 outside but inside 68 keeps me shirtless in my shorts and flip flops. Besides that the heat pump gets a break now and then.

I will be happy when our 1 in 5,000,000 cold spell (feels like it) has gone!!! Signs on some weather models that milder south westerlies are going to appear by mid-month. Can't wait.

Partly cloudy (consistant brightness) all day!
High of 28 F (-2 C); much better than our recent highs in the teens F (-12 to -8 C)

It felt almost spring-like today, considering this is January and our recent Arctic blasts.
I was able to tolerate nearly 10 minutes having my ears uncovered, standing in the sunshine.
Usually when our highs approach the freezing mark, the skies are very-cloudy.
