I cannot even step out on the back of the patio without getting drenched. We've been getting our fair share of rain here lately. I love rain, but when it's a complete downpour I get a little concerned...

Would love to share some folks. We've been getting quite a bit of rain in the DFW area over the last few months. It's good, but very humid when the sun comes out. I love this recent bout though; it's drenching, and where I live is right smack dab in the middle of the red area.

ILNC. I hear ya. I think we here in the DFW area have gotten more rain than you folks in Houston lately. The temps have also been somewhat moderate occasionally. Tomorrow it is only supposed to be in the mid 80s. Can you believe that for late July?

ILNC. The end of July is when I begin my countdown to Fall. Yes, I know that it is mid to late summer, but I can see the daylight at the end of the tunnel!

Like you, I LOVE cooler temps...

Cruxan, where are you actually located other than planet octopulous?

The North Texas area is being pummeled. I wish it would settle down just a tad. My dog doesn't like this so much.. The radar that I posted is behind the times; it's in the middle of DFW as we speak and thunderstorms abound. I like the rain, but I don't like downpours like we're getting with heavy lightning and thunder.

I'm getting a few boom-booms right here in Lewisville, but the rain is not heavy at all. Just some intermittent, light-to-moderate rains. They feel good after a hot day.

AMEN! I'm in Arlington and I am so happy to see this rain. I have not gotten much rain this summer and I water my yard to keep it from dying. But there is nothing like the real stuff: rain.

The storms moved South of Lewisville. Unbelievable how a few scant miles can make such a difference. North Hurst is only about 15 miles Southeast of you.

I recorded almost two inches of rain at my house.

Actually, you are southwest of where I live because my mom lives in Bedford. And it's also amazing that some folks didn't get one drop of rain at all. That may change, though.

Sorry, I meant Southwest. I'm usually a directionally coordinated person, lol...
