60's . That's simply horrific for the Ides of March. I thought you might have gone crazy, but when I glanced at your location (Florida) I saw how that could be a marker for better weather than usual. That's more than a good chunk of the Texas population can say, sweltering with lows above 70F this time of year. This horrific death ridge that is locked in Eastern North America is producing a much hotter than normal pattern that is unquestionably summer-like, at least for a good portion of the area under its grip.

So today, March 21, is technically the day that autumn starts, or, even better, the day that SUMMER ENDS!!!!!! Knowing how i hate summer and how i suffered the last 5 months......I COULDNT BE HAPPIER!!!!

GO AUTUMN!!

Even if we still probably gonna have some more summer days, i feel psicologically so much better, knowing that days will only get colder and colder, and that we are really close to April and May, both PERFECT mild comfortable months here in Buenos Aires.

so....YAY!!!

HAPPY THREAD....I MISSED YOU!

Daylight has revealed probably the best fog I've seen around here (a rare event).

I'm off to experience some fogsurfing, before it burns off.

You're welcome to it. I've seen enough overcast days of late without adding fog to the mix.

It turned out to be a dud. The fog burned off by 9.00, and the tide was all wrong anyway.

These last few days have been some of the best of the whole summer. It has been cloudy though, nearly 70 hours behind average for the YTD.

We're way past that deficit. Already guaranteed all-time lows for Jan-Mar, Dec-Mar and Oct-Mar - in over 100 years of records. Quite bizarre. In the Wairarapa low sunshine and extra rain are reported to be resulting in the poorest grape season since 1992.

Still having unseasonably warm weather here, it is nice but I can't believe how dry it is. There are fire warnings out, signs in the state forest, warnings rare at this time of year.

It has been mild for days on end, quite shocking for March, records being broken every day for over a week. Overnight the furnace doesn't run, wake up temp is 40 at 6 a.m. and that should be our daily high! Bizarre!
