I actually measured the approximate shadow length yesterday, divided by my height,
flip numbers around for the tangent value (Y over X) and did "inverse tangent" to come up with:

64 degrees

I think I noticed earlier that whenever the sun is 55+ degrees,
I can look towards the edge of the horizon and not see sun going directly into my peripheral vision.

Jun 21st sun angle = 90 - (43.5 degrees N -23.5 tropic of cancer)
= 70 degrees

Happy I was out and about a lot of the day but also happy to be back in the friendly confines of my home and chair.

In Scotland the younger ones put on sleeveless tops and shorts when the temps hit 50. And I'm walking around in a fleece jacket!

Yes it was but that 9 hours & 600 miles thing wasn't fun at all, it started messing with my head. I wanted to stop and cry on the side of the road lol.

I'm happy that the new forecast is at least offering a chance of rain for the next five days.

Well it is warmer by the grill.

If I'm in the mood, I make BBQ in weather that barely isn't cold enough for finger discomfort... which can be 35 F/2 C.
