I've noticed that Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallinn have not varied much over recent days in temperature, while remaining below freezing, while places further south have been colder at night.
I can only assume it's due to that low pressure system that delivered the blizzard to Stockholm introducing milder uppers and cloud cover.
Yeah, it's been quite mild recently but thankfully never above freezing. In the coming days a high pressure system from Siberia should be spilling over the Baltics and Scandinavia. The battle between the current low pressure system and that one will bring strong winds and fluctuating temperatures, spicing things up a little.
In another post I remember you saying anything below 6°C was cold. But then you've also claimed (a probably humid) -20°C didn't feel cold at all. Is consistency a goal for you at all?
