Still the only time i'm up at 5 is if i'm going on holiday...
Older people wake earlier than teenagers. Partially for work, and there are fewer social reasons to stay up late. 5 AM is rather early, but 6 AM isn't unusual. What's the point of waking at 12:30? Most of the day, at least in the daylight sense is gone.
