I'm thinking that, too. I've heard USB flash drives being called pen drives as well, so I suppose that's what a memory pen is. To me, a memory stick is an actual RAM module that you stick into a DIMM slot directly into the motherboard.

What's a memory pen?
Yes she lifts everything then loses it and I find it like a week later when I don't need it. And she always forgets too.

A memory pen is a storage device.

A memory pen or memory stick makes much more sense.

Yep, sounds like mine too. Moved something of mine somewhere, and then instantly forgets it. Made me realize she does it based on instinct and not thought, lol.

Muistitikku. 'Muistitikulla' is that you're referring to something that is on the flash drive. And the direct translation is a 'memory stick'. Easy this language is.

Blame Google Translate in Spanish we just say lápiz de memoria (pencil of memory); German Speicherstift (memory pen). Easy. In Japanese they say memoripen. Once again, Finnish has to be difficult Do you guys import any loanwords, or do you figure out a native Finnish word to describe it? The French do that a lot

Finnish:

Suomi kuuluu Pohjoismaihin ja Euroopan unioniin. Se rajautuu idässä Venäjään ja siihen kuuluvaan Karjalan tasavaltaan, pohjoisessa Norjaan ja lännessä Ruotsiin. Etelässä lähin maa on Viro Suomenlahden eteläpuolella. Ahvenanmaa on Suomen demilitarisoitu maakunta, jolla on itsehallinto.

Swedish definitely looks much easier

*These aren't direct translations. Copied them from the first paragraph of Wikipedia's article on Finland in each language

Memory pen in Swedish is minnesstift, I believe, but Ariete will know, being a Swedish-speaking Finn (as opposed to me, a novice at the Swedish language).
