It is here as well, they are all seasonal products. If you're able to buy it, it costs almost as much as gold. Some 80% of all elk, bear and deer meat goes directly to the hunters themselves and restaurants. Reindeer is available more commonly, and horse quite frequently. (Because nobody eats it.)

I've eaten all those in restaurants, and the window when they're affordable is usually just a month or two max, so you have to be aware. Outside this you can find them only in high end restaurants which are expensive as hell.

I've seen moose (I assume that's Ariete means by elk?) burgers being sold, though not around here. Supposed to be good. Popular in Newfoundland.

There's a bison farm in the area here, too.

Yes yes. The creature you have there is the moose, and the one we have here is the Eurasian elk. They are the same animal, though.

I've never seen venison (deer) sold here in supermarkets, but I think you can buy it from butchers, ditto for rabbit. But I don't pay attention to these minor details, so I have no idea.

Not sure what happened then. An empty can on the far end of my computer table fell off the table all by itself. It wasn't even right next to the edge.
