i'm looking for a nice area to be a snow bird. my husband is retiring june 2 this year. i'm an rn so i'll be interest in finding a perdiem position. i'm looking for a possible foreclosure. as i will keep my home in amityville ny. any suggestions in west palm, boca raton, or boynton beach?

you will fit in great with the millions of other snowbirds there...stay north of the palm beach county line unless you feel like speaking spanish..

and be wary of the people who come on here telling you how great south florida is...they are realtors or dillusional...

Now, first things first -- what kinds of housing are you looking for? Condos? gated? Historic/No HOA? What's your price range? My favorite areas in Palm Beach County are Palm Beach, Jupiter, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta, and West Palm Beach.

in 140- 150 range it needs to be pet friendly
