from my knowledge of alot of homework and with friends in east boca and us living in Central Boca..Central Boca has better schools than East Boca except for Boca High which right now is as good as Spanish River High School where our son attends...East Boca is older...Mizner Park is in East Boca and I do believe less gated communites depending on where in East Boca you are wanting to Live...maybe someone else can Chime in who has been living in Boca longer than I but this is what I can tell you...

parks, beach, walking. And he thinks it's younger. Not sure I agree with any of that!

there is just as many restaurants..u also have to remember Im near 95 (Central Boca) and it takes me 5-15 min to get to East Boca...our friends live in the Royal Palm Yaht Club and it takes us 15 min max from here...So it isnt very far...Most of the restaurants are in between east boca and Central Boca and West of Military Trail...We go all over when we go out to eat...we also go to Delray and Ft Lauderdale so it depends..Shopping again it depends on where u go...either way you have to drive...

I can tell u a good majority of kids in East Boca do go to private elem and middle school as they send them to Boca High School since its a very good school...if schools arent an issue then you should take a look at East Boca and Central Boca and see...

I don't really know about bike paths but as far as walkability goes, East Boca gives you more of that in terms of walking to shops and restaurants, not sure that's what you are referring to though. I lived in both East and Central Boca and preferred East for that reason, also closer to the beach and younger it seemed.
