I'll add another building to your list.... check out listings at the Rapallo, which is on the intracoastal, south of Okeechobee Blvd. Excellent location, older building, but I've seen rents in your price range.

one more thing about rapallo... there is a north and south building. is one better than the other? like does one have the amenities kind of like flagler pointe??

I think it's the same thing. Each unit will vary in finishes and upgrades, because they are owner-condos, and some people have owned for years and years (some not bothering to upgrade much).

If I were to choose, though, I'd choose South Tower, because there's a HUGE condo construction project that will be commencing within the next few months to the North of Rapallo, so for noise minimization purposes, that'd be my suggestion.

Keep checking the listings. You're entering a bad time to look, however, because seasonal rates are always higher than yearly.... sometimes by a LOT. I have seen 1 bedrooms at Rapallo for $900, though, so 2 bedrooms may be findable in your price range.


When you get closer to coming down to FL, PM me or Skylinet, and we can give you a list of buildings to look at in the area.
