ATHENS (WVVA) - Concord University's Athens campus was reopened Thursday evening after being on lockdown for around five hours due to a bomb threat posted online.
The school issued an alert on its website at 12:26 p.m. alerting students to return to their dorms and all commuters, faculty and staff to leave campus.
A sweep of the campus by authorities found nothing suspicious. The campus was reopened around 5:30 p.m.
