I decided to broaden my search more and came upon craigsville, its not that far from summersville, which i know from driving through has a super wal mart among other thing, i am curious does anyone know anything about craigsville? anyone live there...?
Summersville also has a great super lake...Its one of the nicest places in Wv. One family owns all the land around that built-up area...that Walmart...the McDonalds and all those motels and businesses bring in a tidy sum...The town has the nationaly known speed trap as a revenue source.
Craigsville, yes people live there. I live in Northern VA and us a florist there,she does nice flowers. I know most of the folks who live there shop in S'ville. It is a pretty area and DK is correct the lake is SUPER!!!

Wow, sounds really nice, yes i read about the speed trap lol. that is always the way we travel when we come back to wv on trips its shorter coming from ga up 19 to the interstate..i liked the area i saw of summersville, but never went into town there...my wifes family lives in the hundred/littleton area of west va. so yall think craigsville/summersville would be a good place to raise kids and maybe get some land and a home for under 150,000$? right now i just need a place to rent once we do move for under 600$ if possible...sounds like a nice place.
