I've tried to research and am coming up with older information.

I see some great property in WV but I don't want to poison my livestock with water.

Also I'd like to have a garden but was told "you can't eat anything that grows there"

People are drawing water from mountain springs?

What's going on there?

You didn't say where in WV you are asking about.

I go to the Capitol Market in Charleston and buy produce grown in farms local to the area. I think most of the sellers are within 50 miles of Charleston and all use the water on their farms. We use the water from WV Water Company for drinking, cooking, washing, dogs, and growing a few tomatoes.

Consider having a Well Drilled... or if your close hookup to local city water.

I'm hearing ground water is bad. Checking with officials isn't a bad idea. There's arsenic in some ground water here.

I'm throwing a wide net, but WV is very appealing. More to the southern end of the state.

Oh no. I doubt a check repairs the damage to the water. At least it's something.

I guess if I was looking at a property I can request a well certification.

Arsenic Is on Top of the Ground ... Spring water is Again on Top of the ground. Well is Drilled Deep in the ground with Casing To keep the water coming up Protect against Arsenic & other toxins!

"More to the southern end of the state." Coal Country god knows what all is in those waters . I would look else where in the state.
