I haven't been visiting Morgantown as much to attend football or basketball games as much as i did 3-5 years ago. But how much has changed in the past 3 years?

Let's start some comparison/contrast on features about both cities.

I suggested that Charleston has a better infrastructure, and he chuckled, stating that he thought i was bragging because Charleston has better roads, and now he feels i'm getting old, haha. I keep hearing that Morgantown has better formal and informal dining, along with better housing.

I'm sure there will be differences of opinions as both towns are very different from each other. One may be better for families, while another may be better for the young professional. ect, ect.

I really can't wait to read some of the responses. I'll keep an open mind, and hope to learn a lot from this thread.

So, this is a thread about comparisons of features, not about bragging my town is better than your town. Right?

Size is a comparison feature.

However, we have already established that morgantown has more actual people ans Charleston has a higher census population. We should move on to other comparisons or let these thread die.

Personally, I think we've beaten this horse to death numerous times. I'd like to see this thread relegated to the history bin. Both towns are great, each in its own way. We have no need to continually compare ourselves with Charleston or any place else to show the positive qualities of our own city.

Yes, can be please do this! I'm tired of all of this. There is nothing else that can be said, both towns are very different, and compared to the rest of the country "lacking".

If anybody will agree to not post here, I will agree. In fact, I would agree to not comparing Charleston and Morgantown on any thread!

I'll even sign my name!
