Scarsdale Diet Doctor. I wish I own that house.

Yes. The question is, how often? And when it does, is it in places that you tend to go?

The reason that the Scarsdale Diet story was a story at all was because it was so anomalous. The south side of NR has all kinds of stuff going on, none of which you'll ever hear about, albeit less extreme than daylight stabbings in public places. Actually, even that didn't get much press, I guess since it wasn't deemed very press-worthy.

If you read talk of the sound, you will see that there are plenty issues on the other side of town, such as a taxi cab driver being robbed at the train station, the arrest of a man on suspicion of child porn that lives by Webster Elementary-his window overlooks the playground, a drive by shooting on the west end.

Crime happens everywhere, in any neighborhood, blue collar/white collar. Although I will still take the train to the city from the New Ro station, I don't necessarily want to raise my kids in that part of town. As with many areas, there are pockets that are good and pockets that aren't. To each his own.

I grew up with different religions and nationalities in the north end. There were plenty of christmas decorations and plenty of menorahs in the window. People are proud of who they are and not afraid to show it. I can't say that I would feel the same living on the other side of town, Moderator cut: Orphaned thought - other post was removed, regardless of my race or religion.

1nevets.....I thought of another area in New Rochelle. There are many homes in between the stretch of Boston Post Road and Palmer that could suit your friend. For example emerson avenue, or off of stephenson blvd. Easy drive to the train. Just something to think about.
