Thank you for the recommendations. Glad to hear some positive feedback about WestMed, unfortunately, Yonkers is too far for us to have our kids primary doctor. We are a one car household so I would need a practice that I could get to via public transportation if I needed to. Soundview Pediatrics sounds promising.
Essentially we have were spoiled. Our former ped office was the perfect size. 2 main peds and a NP. There was one doctor we saw for all our well child visits but if he wasn't available for a sick visit, we could see the NP or the other doctor. Also he was funny and warm to our children (which I am just not getting from my visit with Le Guillou- seems really intelligent but didn't really bother to talk to our kids when we met him). Also, I miss having an office with different themed rooms for the kids. My son loved the dinosaur room at out old office. The solo practice is just a general office so seems less kid friendly.
Anybody have good or bad experiences with Eastchester Pediatrics? I remember interviewing Dr. Boyer 7+ years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter and I remember really liking the office and the doctor seemed fine. Heard Dr. Bisnauth in the office is good as well.
I am just curious, how do you 'interview' a doc? All my docs are through reliable suggestions and I have been happy with everyone, except one's office staff is a disaster and lost my file. So will be glad to know this interview part for future. And How well your requests are responded. You could reply me off this thread, I do not want to hijack the thread.
I am not familiar with Dr. Kenamore but I see that the practice has joined WESTMED so I assume that previous posts regarding WESTMED will pertain to that practice as well. I found that it seems to be difficult to get much info on some of the WESTMED pediatric groups. I still have not found much about the New Rochelle practice so we ended up just staying with Dr. Le Guillou. However we are starting to look again because I think my daughter will soon feel more comfortable with a female doctor.
Looking into Chester Pediatrics or the Pediatric Group of New Rochelle. Anyone have experience with the female pediatricians there.
Thank you
I work at Children's Hospital at Montefiore
I can ask for you about the Chester Pediatrics Group
Maybe one of my colleagues knows
Thanks! I appreciate it
