Tappen Zee Bridge will be reopening soon.

The Gov. of CT. is sending Metro North trains along CT. section to do recon to see when they can open that portion of the Metro North system.

Thursday evening update:
Metro-North has extended Harlem Line service to Southeast, and full service between Southeast and Grand Central Terminal will be restored tomorrow morning. Currently, close to regularly scheduled service is being provided on the Harlem Line between Mount Kisco and Grand Central Terminal, and on the New Haven Line between Stamford and Grand Central Terminal.

Beginning tomorrow (Saturday, Nov 2nd, 2012), service will be restored on a regular [or as close to regular as possible] schedule on the Upper Hudson, ie service is restored from Poughkeepsie to GCT.

On the New Haven Line, service is once again running a regular [or as close to regular as possible] schedule between New Haven and GCT; service on the New Haven branch lines remains suspended.

Harlem Line service will continue between Southeast and GCT a regular [or as close to regular as possible] schedule; service on the Wassiac Branch/Harlem extension will remain suspended.

I am taking Metro North harlem line tomorrow (Monday 11-5). How was the service/crowding on Friday and what should I expect tomorrow? Should I leave earlier because I may not get on my train due to crowds?

Thanks in advance....

On Thursday I would estimate my regular train was less than 2/3 of what it normally is. And that was a day with carpool restrictions on driving in but the gas shortages hadn't hit yet.
