I heard someone say they live in White Plains but have the option to send their kids to Larchmont schools (they pay some tuition) as one of the spouse works in Mamaroneck.
Can someone explain how this works? How much they have to pay?
Are there other similar arrangements in Westchester/Fairfield County?
Any links to official policy/guidelines would be even better.
Hopefully someone has some info.

Do you mean one of the spouses works for Mamaroneck school district?
If they just work "in Mamaroneck", but not in the schools, that makes no difference. Any out of district kids can apply, and if the SD decides to let them attend then the SD will charge them tuition (its up to the school district whether they want to take in an extra kid and you have to apply directly to them)
Edit - as far as I know they pay at least what the school districts spends per pupil - prob. $22-26k for Mamaroneck but you can look that up
Ok. I think I found more info and the working spouse is actually a teacher in Mamaroneck school district so yeah they work for Mamaroneck school district. So that might be it.
I am not sure what they pay though.
