Currently living in a very diverse area that is struggling with crime and poor school achievement. Looking to relocate, would like to be by people like me (white and catholic) which town would be best. Thanks.
By the way, Pelham, Tuckahoe, Valhalla, Pocantico Hills and Dobbs Ferry are examples of districts in the county with a visible degree of diversity that are fine academically. You can have diverse districts that do fine and predominantly/overwhelmingly white districts that are below average or aren't as highly regarded as a more diverse district, even if it is fine/good. Just do your proper(key word) research.
Hendrick Hudson and Lakeland are a couple of other examples of districts in the county with visible diversity that are fine academically.
I'd say to look into Bronxville, Byram Hills, Mount Pleasant(Westlake), Chappaqua, Blind Brook-Rye, Somers, Katonah-Lewisboro, North Salem and maybe Pleasantville. All are in the 85-92% white range. Most of the other good SD's are actually around 80% and down.

I looked at the Census data and the districts with the highest percentage of white people are in Northern Westchester -- Armonk 93%, Lewisboro 90%, North Salem 95% Pound Ridge 90%, Somers 88%. Some of the districts that people think of as very high-performing that are in Southern Westchester, have slightly lower percentages of all-white people, but they also have more Asians. Scarsdale is 83% white and 13% Asian. Rye is also 89% white, 6% Asian.

But is heavily protestant/agnostic. Not many catholics - seems to be important to OP
Go to New Canaan, it's so white my Irish friends felt uncomfortable there.
