I'm a 29 yo male looking to moving to Yonkers with 2 roommates the same age. I'm a registered nurse and plan on working in the city (not outside the city). I would commute into the city using Metro North, but is it possible to live in Yonkers without a car and just walk to the station? Our price-range is less than $2400/month.
Are their places within easy walking distance to Metro North that are both safe and within the listed price range? Also, is it worth the move there, or are we better off moving into the city? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
