I need to buy furniture for a home I am renovating in Asheville. The idea of buying furniture in NC is overwhelming due to the obvious. I like modern/contemporary/danish style furniture. Any suggestions? I don't want to drive all the way to High Point if I can help it.

This place has some beautiful mid-century modern inspired pieces.

Here's a place . . . Rudy's Furniture. It's near Sweeten Creek and I40 in an industrial park.

You can save some money at Rudy's. They have factory closeout stuff, or perhaps factory showroom stuff. It vary's each day, so if they don't have something at the moment, they'll have it tomorrow, the next day or pretty soon. It's worth checking out each day.

Here's the link: Rudy's Furniture Warehouse | Asheville, NC | A Unique Warehouse Experience

Another place is Carolina Furniture Concepts in Arden. It's just south of the Asheville city line. They'll wheel and deal on the prices, so go in prepared to negotiate.
